Side Table redo

The dogs broke the cute side table I had by the couch. It was a cute farmhouse style tray table and they were running around, and broke one of the legs.

I tried fixing but no luck and I have been looking for months a replacement that didn’t break the bank because I am cheap.

I have been using a standing shelf I had but the hubs dislikes it big time. So I am considering looking at the store or on marketplace.

I finally found what I was looking for and the size was perfect. It’s in great condition and was 20 bucks but it didn’t quite match my decor so I upcycled it!

The legs came off super easy and I decided to just spray paint the top. I did a first coat of white primer and than got black enamel paint from Ace Hardware. It went in beautifully. After it dried, I lightly sanded the edges to give a distressed look to match the legs.

I did a final clear coat on it and than stuck the legs back on. It cost me 23 bucks with the table and paint. It’s custom and matched my decor!
